Music Matters have three new singing and choral projects this Autumn: an inclusive community youth choir, a singing project for Trans people, their partners, friends and allies and a choir for LGBTQ women.

We have places available in all of our choirs…our Musical Memories and memory lane choirs for older people, those with dementia and they’re families and carers.  And in our inclusive community choir for young people and adults with and without special needs. See details on

Both of our Musical Memories’ choirs will celebrate their second birthday, on Thursday Sep 24 in deansgrange library and Saturday Sep 26 in St Raphaelas convent Stillorgan, both 11-12.30. Join us for some songs and birthday cake!

Our Memory Lane choir has its official launch on October 7, 11.45-12.30 at St Agnes’ centre for music and the arts, Armagh Road, Crumlin. More cake…and more singing!!

The Big Sing event

Music matters are taking part in The Big Sing event in Dun Laoghaire on Sunday October 11 to celebrate social inclusion week, national choral singing week and the 50th anniversary of The Sound of Music. A great event for all the family! Check it out on Facebook and our website.
