Call for contemporary dancers/performers for a music video. The video will be released in Ireland and the UK and online formats (the artist is currently based in the UK and about to release their second album in both territories)We’d like a male and female dancer together in the same room but separated by a partition (so they’re not actually together). At the end of the video the partition smashes and they notice each other and lunge in towards each other. We’re looking for people that would be able to just respond in their own way to the music. We anticipate the dance to be something quite violent and jerky in movement, very inelegant, interpretive and free-form.
The shoot would most likely last between 6-8 hours in total and would likely happen on a weekend somewhere in Dublin within the next 2 weeks. The performers will have access to the song in question of course and we will provide a detailed brief so that everyone is comfortable and well directed on the day.The artist is unsigned so funding this project themselves. We can offer a small payment, and as a videographer and portrait photographer myself, I’d  be very willing to also do a collection of still photos for each dancer to use in their portfolio if they wished as part incentive for your participation.

If you are interested or have any questions please do get in contact: Shooting ASAP. No further submissions past 23rd Feb.

€100 cash per performer. Accreditation and exposure of performance in online and TV media in UK & Ireland.
