Frank is nice guy. He has a job that he doesn’t like. His girlfriend is gone. He lives in an apartment he bought at the wrong time. He enjoys Tango dancing, travel and red wine. Frank does not enjoy 3D movies, sarcasm and Monday mornings. Today, Frank is having trouble putting one foot in front of the other. Today, he can’t find two socks that match. He hasn’t even looked. Today, a weight sits on his chest and he cannot shift it. Today, Frank is going to call work and say that he is taking a mental health day. Frank will be told that there is no such thing.
A live performance devised by the Gaiety School of Acting’s Performance Theatre Company and Dan Colley, Love. Labour. Loss. is about the full-time job of being happy.
