Casting Call

For a short film to be shot in Dublin between 3rd – 5th April.

Auditions to take place on:
Monday, 11 th March 2013

In Dublin Institute of Technology, Aungier Street, Dublin 2.

This is unpaid work, but is a great opportunity to network and gain experience with  filmmakers and the future members of the film-industry.

After joining the staff of the psychiatric ward of Bethlam Royal Hospital, Dr James Monro struggles to communicate with a difficult patient. When Dr Monro’s claims don’t
add up, his own sanity comes is questioned.

Drama (with elements of horror)
Lead Role:
Male – playing range 20-30 – Dr James Monro: A newly qualified doctor, determined to help a patient he feels is in need.

Supporting Roles:
Female – playing range 16-25 – Beth: A deeply disturbed young woman who continuously lashes out at James as he tries to help her.

Female – playing range 40-50 – Meredith: A nurse, and colleague of James, who is sceptical of his claims.
