‘Misery Memoir’ open audition + ‘Cuckoo’ fundraising quiz

Producer Marie Caffrey of Zanzibar Films is holding two film-related events in Ranelagh on
Thursday 5 July.

Open audition for MISERY MEMOIR, a short film set in 1940s Ireland, to be made in early
September by writer/director Tim Hanon.

Marie is looking for:
2 male actors, aged between 60 and 80
2 male actors, aged between 10 and 18
50 extras, all ages and genders

Fundraising quiz for CUCKOO, a psychological thriller in four parts, written by Nikki Racklin
and Danann Breathnach. Having successfully filmed the first two episodes with the help of RTÉ
funding, the team behind CUCKOO is now throwing a networking-fundraising movie quiz in
order to complete the final two exciting episodes. CUCKOO stars Pagan McGrath and Denise
McCormack, who recently won Best Supporting Actress at the Irish Film and TV Academy Awards.
