Attention Drama, Opera & Circus students & enthusiasts!

The Everyman Theatre is looking to create a Performing Ensemble for the upcoming Opera Pagliacci! Work in on a voluntary basis.
This June during the Midsummer Festival in Cork the Everyman Palace is coming together with Cork Operatic Society, Cork Circus and acclaimed clown company Barabbas to stage this magical work. Colorful, full of energy and hugely entertaining! That’s a good description of the opera Pagliacci and of the performers who are at the heart of this explosive
story of desire, faithlessness and retribution which premièred in 1892 and made the composer Leoncavallo an overnight sensation.

The production is looking to include volunteer performers to form a performing ensemble for the Opera. The people should be willing to commit the time and energy in exchange of training in clowning and will end up the process performing in something unforgettable.

When would you be needed?

– Rehearsals:
