JuSt Theatre Company from London are hoping to take Anne Devlin’s award-winning OURSELVES ALONE to Dublin (where it has never been performed) in June at The Black Box, Beckett Centre, at TCD.

They will be bringing their sizeable cast and team over for the occasion.

The show runs from June 11th-June 24th after which they have been invited to bring it back to London to close the inaugural relaunch of the UK Irish Arts Festival (which hasn’t run since the 80’s) for which there will be a lot of media coverage.

They are looking for people who would like to come on board the show in a production capacity, and, also possibly to fill some of the smaller but important roles we are recasting in Dublin.

Because of the high profile nature of the production, They really need to find a core group of young performers and production enthusiasts who are willing to really work as a team while the tour is in Dublin.
They will make sure they are well looked after (we do a very good buffet lunch) and will endeavour to make their involvement as worth while as possible, in both a personal and theatrical capacity!
Tasks for which they could really use some help include:
  • Assisting on the logistics of the show, getting cast and crew where they need to be, working with the production team to get the most out of rehearsals pre-show.
  • Assisting with marketing, flyering in central Dublin, chatting to local businesses whom we would like to have on board as sponsors for the duration of the show through our marketing material etc.
  • Helping with get-in and simple set construction (There’s very little to worry about in terms of set!)
  • Assisting with lighting set up – we are on the hunt for a reliable Lighting Tech looking for experience and confident to take on a relatively simple but intense lighting design format.
  • Back Stage Manager- we really need a calm, focused person who can assist with alot of props transitions and quick changes.
They can promise that this is a great show to be a part of,  they have a fantastic cast and the atmosphere has never been less than 100% positive and fun, so they would hope the same will hold true for our Dublin run.
And of course if any one is considering the UK for work after graduation they would be delighted to point them in the right direction in terms of directors, agents, casting directors and all the other important contacts theyhave made since moving there four years ago.

email them at this address justtheatrecompany@gmail.com and when the production team are in Dublin in April/May they would love to meet with you for a chat.

The show is being directed by company member and Gaiety School alumni Conor Irwin.
