After the Christmas holidays, the sixth annual “Let’s Talk ABout Drugs” Media Awards will be launched for third level colleges in the Greater Dublin area. This drugs education competition may be of interest to Journalism, Media and Art or Animation students.

The aim of this competiton is to encourage a wider discussion around the drugs issue in colleges and homes across the country. The competition formats include newspaper articles, audio features, videos and cartoon strips, using specific themes.

This competition is organised by the Greater Blanchardstown Repsonse to Drugs (G.B.R.D) and supported by the County Dublin VEC, the HSE and the Dublin People Group (Northside & Southside People)
