There will be a very special fundraiser for Pieta House on Saturday 17th December in DCU, Dublin 9.
Pieta House is the Centre for the Prevention of Self-Harm or Suicide, and there will be a football tournament fundraiser to raise funds for their amazing work and they need some help!
The plan for the day will be a series of football matches – so far the Gardai, Army, Fire Brigade and more are already on board, and the Lord Mayor Andrew Montague will be along too. What they’re looking for is some volunteers to help keep the kids entertained while the football is going on. So if you can do clowning, puppetry, magic tricks, balloon animals, face painting…anything, they’d love to hear from you.
The event will be from 1:00-4:00pm on Saturday 17th December. There is no obligation to do it for the whole time, can you even give 30 or 40 minutes for this really great cause??
If so, please call Joanne on 087-9956403 to volunteer or for more information.
