Follow In Their Foot Steps

We are delighted to share with you some of the success stories from our students at The Gaiety School of Acting. We are never surprised to hear how well they are doing but we can’t help but celebrate their success.

· Druid Theatre, BIG MAGGIE. “It is an extremely enjoyable play with fantastic acting and production. The characters were very well played and the violent scenes were very realistic. It’s well worth a look I would definitely recommend it.

Druid Theatre is currently travelling the country with their outstanding production of Big Maggie. Some of our graduates are among the cast have taken to the stage in Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre, Glor in Ennis, Cork’s Everyman Palace Theatre, Castlebar’s Royal Theatre, Siamsa Tir in Tralee, Dunamaise in Portlaoise, Roscommon Arts Centre, Longford’s Backstage Theatre, Hawk Well Theatre in Sligo and the Town Hall Theatre in Galway. Big Maggie returns to The Gaiety Theatre from January 30th to February 11th 2012. We would like to say congratulations to Aisling O’Sullivan (Big Maggie), Sarah Greene, Charlie Murphy and Paul Connaughton on their hard work and thoroughly enjoyable performances.

· Little Women, by Louise May Alcott adapted by Anne-Marie Casey. “The story moves so quickly and smoothly…beautifully fluid”  Irish Independent.

Little Women at The Gate Theatre is the perfect production to get you in the Christmas mood. Accurately portrayed and wonderfully acted we would like to acknowledge the impressive work of Lorna Quinn and Jane McGrath. Little Women has been highly praised by the industry’s finest and we are very proud of Lorna and Jane.

Little Women will be performed at The Gate Theatre from November 10th to January 14th 2012.

The Government Inspector at The Abbey Theatre. “You should know that that’s pretty much Irish Theatre royalty there. Amazing cast with brilliant actors who are all memorable in their own way, as you’d expect).”

Don Wycherley and Liz Fitzgibbon, Rory Nolan, James Murphy and Nyree Yergainharsian from The Gaiety School of Acting take to the stage with their hilarious portrayal of The Government Inspector at The Abbey Theatre. This production is a must see during the Christmas season which runs from Wednesday 30th of November to Saturday 28th January 2012.
