The Jack Burdell Experience is a new company founded by John Delaney, a graduate of the Gaiety School and current tutor on various courses including the Full-Time programme; and Clara Burke, a more recent graduate and current MFA student at NCAD. We established Jack Burdell to fulfil (or fuel) the desire to create new work, explore new ideas, and develop new partnerships.
The whole spirit of The Jack Burdell Experience is one of community and discussion. We’re always open to new voices and new thoughts, so please get in touch if you have a piece you’ve written, an idea you’ve had, or even the spark of something you’d just like to mull over with us over a cup of coffee.
Our next project is the Collaborations festival, which will take place in Smock Alley Theatre from February 6th – 18th 2012.
Collaborations is a festival to celebrate making new work across the arts; and we’d love to hear from new writers, actors, directors, artists and musicians … We want to hear the idea that’s been knocking around your head for the past few months, and we want to make it happen. Applications are open now on our website, and close on Monday 24th October at 6pm.
There are plenty of ways to get in touch: follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and our blog thejackburdellexperience.wordpress.com; visit our shiny new website, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to hearing from you, thanks for your support!
