The Gaiety School of Acting was founded in 1986 by internationally-renowned Theatre Director Joe Dowling in response to the lack of full time actor training in Ireland at the time. The school is now widely regarded as the country’s premier training facility for actors and has become The National Theatre School of Ireland.
The policy of the Gaiety School of Acting is to train actors for the theatre, film and television industries. Through our two-year intensive acting programme an individual will grow in confidence and develop techniques which will enable them to respond to the challenges of theatre, film and television while also being pro-active in the development of new work. The school also provides an extensive programme of part-time courses for adults, children and young people.

I am returning to Ireland from the USA for an uspecified amount of time.
I am interested in finding again an actors studio for adults which opens up opportunities for adults to take part in drama classes, learning monologues, plays and any opportunites for film if possible either in Ireland or the UK or even the USA.
I have taken classes here and have done some plays but I again want to be involved in the arts.
I am female in my 40′s. Born in the UK and raised in Ireland mainly, I am very interested in again getting back to what I love. Please let me know course dates and times and costs please. —Thankyou—alex
Hi,
We are currently seeking a male actor in his 20′s to star in a 5min short film.
It’s unpaid work but meals will be provided and the film will serve well as a portfolio piece.
The film will involve a lot of work with green screen so it will be an ideal opportunity to get experience with the aforementioned.
Hours: full-time.
shooting from 13th-17th of June inclusive
If anyone is interested from the Gaeity School we would love to hear from you. We can be contacted by emailing: info@glowgreenproductions.com
Many thanks,
Claire Murphy
